Variety: The Welschriesling is a variety originating from Italy that is nowadays primarily cultivated in Austria. Welschriesling is a late-ripening grape with fruity acidity. It is not related to the Riesling, as its name suggests.

Tasting: intense yellow, fine almones, ripe apples, creamy and elegant structure, juicy with great flow.

Best served with: stuffed peppers, fish terrine, brawn, catfish fillet with white wine-saffron sauce, fried zander with this year´s cabbage and bacon, boiled beef with apple horseradish
