The Welschriesling matures late and delivers fine-spicy wines.
Variety: The Welschriesling is a variety originating from Italy that is nowadays primarily cultivated in Austria. Welschriesling is a late-ripening grape with fruity acidity. It is not related to the Riesling, as its name suggests.
Tasting: intense yellow, typical stone fruit and hay aroma, subtle flavor, elegant, yellow-red apples, pears and almonds, simple and straight structure with great flow.
Best served with: stuffed peppers, fish terrine, brawn, catfish fillet with white wine-saffron sauce, fried zander with this year´s cabbage and bacon, boiled beef with apple horseradish
