The Welschriesling is a variety originating from Italy that is nowadays primarily cultivated in Austria. It is not related to the Riesling, as its name suggests.

Tasting: greenish yellow, a full, fresh Welschriesling, aromatic, like a green apple.

Best served with: stuffed peppers, fish terrine, brawn, catfish fillet with white wine-saffron sauce, fried zander with this year´s cabbage and bacon, boiled beef with apple horseradish
