Gelber Muskateller – a firework of flavors

Variety: The Gelber Muskateller probably originates from the Near East and is one of the oldest cultivated grape varieties in the world – next to the Traminer. Of all grape varieties it tastes most grapey. The Gelber Muskateller wines are fruity, fresh wines with the typical Muscat scent.

Tasting: soft yellow, aromatic, fresh, cool and clear, juicy muscatel aromas. Refreshing acidity, the perfect wine on a summer´s day.

Best served with: Kärtner Kasnudeln (dumplings), potato strudel, egg tagliatelle with herb pesto, poached poularde with cardamom rice, asparagus dishes, sheep cheese strudel with tomato chutney
