Discovery Package: Ruster wines with rich history and tradition
Furmint 2024: Before phylloxera came to Europe, the Ruster hill country was largely planted with Furmint. The long tradition begins with the production of Ruster Ausbruch. With careful hand harvesting, powerful, dry Furmint wines with great aging potential are also produced.
Welschriesling 2024: The main grape variety in Rust. Welschriesling ripens late and yields delicately spicy wines.
Gelber Muskateller 2024: This ancient grape variety is, among the many Muscat types, the one with the finest muscat aroma and a beautiful lively acidity.
Blaufränkisch Ried Kreften 2022: The main red grape variety in Rust. An aromatic, fruity, and full-bodied wine.
Orange Traminer 2023: Traminer is one of Europe’s original grape varieties. From it, we often vinify unique specialties. Orange wines are white wines fermented on the skins, containing more tannins and pigments from the grape skins.
Ruster Ausbruch 2015: Ruster Ausbruch, a refined and not overly opulent sweet wine, is made from grapes affected by noble rot (Botrytis Cinerea), which develops particularly concentrated aromas. Fiery and elegant, with honey and exotic fruits on the nose, a beautiful balance of residual sweetness and acidity, extremely fruit-explosive on the palate, with eternal aging potential.
